Toli Masjid
The magnificent mosque dates back 300 years and is considered to be one of the best examples of Qutub Shahi architecture in the city of Hyderabad. Mir Musa Khan Mahaldar is credited with the construction of the Toli Masjid in the year 1671.
During the rule of Sultan Abdullah Qutub Shah, Mir Musa Khan Mahaldar served as the royal architect. Mir Musa Khan Mahaldar was also a participant in the construction of the Musa Burj of Golconda.
The Toli Masjid was recognized as a heritage site by the Archaeological Survey of India in 2005, and it also earned an award from INTACH in that same year.
One of the most eye-catching examples of Islamic architecture at this place of worship is the Toli Masjid, which has five arches with ornate carvings on the front side of the building.
