Go on Trash-Hunting Missions

Reef Rangers activities always start with a treasure hunt, but the treasure is a cleaner beach! Grab a bucket and race your friends to collect the most rubbish in ten minutes. Bottles, straws, and wrappers are the “villains” you capture and toss in the bin. Every piece you grab saves a fish!

Pack Like a Zero-Waste Ranger

Real Reef Rangers never bring single-use plastic bad guys. Instead, they carry:

• A cool reusable water bottle that gets refilled all day
• Snacks in lunchboxes or beeswax wraps
• A cloth bag for collecting shells and sea glass Pro tip: the Ranger who brings the brightest bottle wins extra hero points!

Tide-Pool Explorer Rules

When you discover a tide pool, drop to your knees and become a quiet detective. Look for crabs, anemones, and baby fish, but remember the golden rule: hands in your pockets! Touching hurts the tiny animals, so we use only our eyes and our “wow!” voices.

Build Turtle Runways, Not Traps

Baby sea turtles use the beach like a highway to the sea. Deep holes are speed bumps that can trap them. After you finish your epic sandcastle kingdom, Reef Rangers grab their shovels and fill every hole smooth again. Smooth sand = happy turtles racing to the waves!

Be a Water-Saving Super Spy

Even when you’re not at the beach, you’re still on duty. Turn off taps, take five-minute showers, and remind grown-ups to fix drips. Every drop you save travels all the way to the ocean and keeps it clean for whales and dolphins.
